Ever since Donald Trump beat Hillary Clinton in the presidential election, liberals have been doing everything in their power to make life as difficult as possible for him. Now, it appears the president elect’s son Eric Trump has found himself being targeted.
Last Friday, Trump took to Twitter to make a very sad announcement about Eric.
“My wonderful son, Eric, will no longer be allowed to raise money for children with cancer because of a possible conflict of interest with my presidency,” Trump wrote on Twitter. “Isn’t this a ridiculous shame? He loves these kids, has raise millions of dollars for them, and now must stop. Wrong answer!”
The Eric Trump Foundation will no longer be able to solicit donations from contributors directly after liberals threw a fit over an online auction the charity sponsored in which they offered a chance to have coffee with Ivanka Trump.
Eric has raised over $15 million for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital since he first started fundraising for them when he was 21 years-old. Sources close to him say he feels “deep regret” that he will not be able to continue with his efforts.
Liberals have tried to compare Eric’s charitable efforts to the Clinton Foundation, but the reality is that they can’t be more different. Unlike the Clintons, Eric is a successful businessman who doesn’t need to funnel money from his charity illegally to fund his personal life.
Unfortunately, the only people who will suffer from this move are the sick children at St. Jude’s who were depending on Eric to help them.
